Project Update – June 11th

We are making steady progress on the boardwalk project. The first phase of the waterline installation is now nearly complete. We have received authorization to fully close the road at the construction site, and this closure will be implemented soon to allow the next stages of work to proceed, specifically, the culvert installation and pile driving.

To support the full road closure, a number of detour and road closure signs will be placed throughout the Village. These signs are a regulatory requirement and allow us to proceed without the need for flaggers.

We expect the pile driving equipment to arrive on-site later this week or early next week.

We appreciate the community’s continued support and patience. Photos below highlight some of the recent progress.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at: waterfront@baddeckvillage.ca
